All instructors/lecturers from prospective in academic and equivalent achievement must have relevant academic qualification based their field, teaching experience or professional education approved alternate field unless they have major in special education. Also other qualifications and experience as approved by :

2. Graduate Diploma
3. Master
Also the graduates from Nautics and Technics Department must have sea servive project at least two years.

INSTRUCTOR TEACHING LOAD

Makassar Merchant Marine Polytechnic consists of lecturers/instructors with the well–established reputation for their scientific qualification. Most of lecturers/trainer staff loading at least 12 (twelve) credits per semester and each lecturers loading with 2 (two) teaching subjects.

In general each class consists thirty students (maximum load). Between teaching staff and student shows for each Department :

To strengthen the teaching and learning process effectively, the Academic Administration Subdivision attach partnership lecurers particularly in theory and practical. Hence the learning/teaching process running well for twice meeting per week in each suject. Each class loads for twenty students responsible by a lecturer in once learning and teaching process.
